Video art
Jul 28th, 2012, Christophe Bruchansky
These early experimental videos were created between 2004 and 2008. They are hybrid productions mixing drawing, first-hand photography, acoustic environment, and writing. I regrouped them under one label, “4-8am”, referring to the hours, between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m., during which I mainly produced them: a time aside from the rest of the day, propitious to lyricism and philosophy.
The moving images were screened at the European Media Art Festival of Osnabruck (2006), the Art Chicago fair (2008), and in the Toronto subway stations (2010). See my biography for a complete list of references.
